A New Connection Between Spain's Third City and Northern Italy
Wizz Air has confirmed a new direct service between Valencia and Turin, Italy, launching on September 15, 2026. The route will operate four times weekly — on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays — using an Airbus A321neo with 239 seats, adding over 7,500 additional seats per month between the two cities.
Flight Times

Part of a Major Valencia Expansion
The Turin route is one component of a 43% seat capacity increase by Wizz Air at Valencia Airport for 2026. The airline will operate 15 routes from Valencia, cementing its position as the airport's second-largest operator.
Paula Llobet, president of the Visit Valencia Foundation, welcomed the expansion: "This helps consolidate Valencia as a competitive, sustainable and globally open European urban destination."
Andras Rado, Wizz Air's communications head, added that Valencia has "extraordinary growth potential" and that the airline aims to serve it with "a state-of-the-art, quieter, and more efficient fleet."
Why Turin?
Turin is one of northern Italy's most underrated cities — often overlooked in favour of Milan or Rome, but with a compelling mix of culture, history and food. Highlights include:
- The Shroud of Turin — one of Christianity's most debated relics
- The Mole Antonelliana — Turin's iconic domed tower housing the National Cinema Museum
- The Egyptian Museum — the largest collection of Egyptian antiquities outside Cairo
- The Superga Basilica — with panoramic views over the city and the Alps
- A strong football heritage — home to both Juventus and Torino FC
For residents of the Valencia region, the new direct connection opens up weekend trips and short breaks to a city that previously required a connection or a long drive. For Italian visitors, it creates a straightforward route to one of Spain's most vibrant and rapidly growing destinations.
