Former TOWIE Cast Member Dies at Mallorca Villa

Jake Hall, 35, a former cast member of ITV's The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE), has been found dead at a rented villa in Santa Margalida, a municipality in the north of Mallorca. Police were alerted shortly before 7:30am on Wednesday, May 7, after Hall was discovered with catastrophic head injuries and glass shards embedded in his head.

The Guardia Civil launched a major emergency response at the property and has been conducting a forensic examination of the scene.

Glass Door Accident Theory

Authorities are treating the death as a suspected accident. A police source told reporters: "We are focusing on the theory the victim died in a tragic accident after hitting his head against the glass door, but it is still too early to say definitely what happened."

A Guardia Civil spokesperson confirmed: "The incident that led to his death occurred at a rented property in Santa Margalida."

An autopsy has been scheduled in Palma. No arrests have been made and the investigation is continuing.

Six Others Present at the Villa

Six other people were present at the villa at the time — four men and two women. All were questioned by police. Their identities and nationalities have not been disclosed. British consular officials are providing support to Hall's family.

Who Was Jake Hall

Hall gained a following through his appearances on TOWIE, where he was known in part for his on-screen relationship with fellow cast member Chloe Lewis. He also shared a child with Misse Beqiri, known from The Real Housewives of Cheshire. His death has prompted an outpouring of tributes from fans and former co-stars.
